Impact of COVID-19 on Mergers and Acquisitions Deals

Covid-19 continues to wreak havoc on our way of life, and businesses are no exception. Companies changed their operating procedures, updated their financial projections, took out PPP loans to cover payroll expenses, and found themselves having to continually update office policies relating to mask requirements, working from home, and now, vaccination status.  For companies engaged in corporate transactions, these changes materially impacted deal terms and transaction mechanics.
